About Us
Craiglands Remedial School has always strived to create a warm and immersive learning environment for children with special educational needs.
Over the past 23 years of offering remedial education in Randburg, we thrive in offering learners a unique learning experience and aim to be a home away from home where learners feel safe and part of the group.
Children with learning challenges respond positively to a small, secure environment where their needs can be individually addressed. We have seven classes of no more than 14 children in a class.
We also have a team of Play Therapists, Physiotherapists and Remedial Therapists that we can refer our learners to.
Our learners are happy and love to come to school.
Specialized Independent Learning
We cater for learners who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities, disorders or difficulties; learning impairment, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia and/ or dysgraphia.
We also cater for children who have lost confidence and have a poor self-esteem.
We follow the CAPS curriculum in a supportive and aided class system, which has proven to be extremely successful at Craiglands Remedial School over the years.
We focus on teaching our learners how to navigate their learning challenges with confidence and provide them with the right tools for success.
